There are lots of ways you can you can try to help your cat develop into a friendly, loving pet. They can help your cat to develop and adapt a personality a little more like the rest of your household. Of course, it is still a cat, an animal, so it will have its share of bad days. You can’t hold that against him or her, though.

Cats are can be very fickle creatures. One minute they love you, the next minute they don’t even want you to look in their direction! 

First of all, it’s important to love them very much! If you really want an animal to love you, then you really have to love him or her unconditionally. Personally, as long as there is still the basic obedience necessary for my animals, I don’t think that there is ever too much love for them.

I have never seen an animal, especially a cat that has a bad personality that makes them too loveable! As far as being spoiled, yes, they can pick up those characteristics, but I have found that showing them bounds of affection and nurturing might actually make the training process a little easier.

Overall, cats want to make you happy.  If they are scolded, and are used to you being happy with them, they will take that lesson with them and remember it the next time they think of doing something that they know you won’t care for. They hate to be on your bad side and are quick to forgive, if you are in the wrong. So, maybe some people should learn from them!

Try to always remain calm; if that’s the way you want your animal to be. If you show your cat a well-balanced personality, like you play sometimes, are calm sometimes and don’t quickly confront, they will see that. Also, if you already have cats with that calming, nurturing personality, a new addition will most likely follow in those footsteps.

There’s no right way to make your cat loveable. All you can do is show it kindness and affection and hopefully that will be the model they need. The best possible way is to lead by example. Show them a ton of affection, from the day they come home.

 Let them know you care about them and their happiness. If you know they like to sleep in a warm place, drape a warm towel over them. Just like people, they come to appreciate the little things.
