When it comes to the feeding of your cat, there are a lot of choices on the market. There are many different companies that make a ton of different products that are all aimed at making your cat’s existence as pampered as possible! If you are in the market for a new bowl, or just what to see what all is out there, you are in for a surprise!

Many cats are very fussy when it comes to their food!  If you think about it, al of the blame probably lies on your shoulders, though; it is very hard to resist those little eyes imploring you to give them what they really want. If you give in, relax; it is not the end of the world! Cats have been thought of in high regard since the ancient Egyptians ruled the world, so it’s easy to see where their attitudes may stem from!

Cats are creatures of nature, meaning that they generally have routines that they abide by daily. This includes their eating routine. If they have a certain food they like, they always expect it. They will also quickly learn which bowls are theirs and which are not. They will also let you know if they are okay with your choice! When you are talking about your beloved pampered kitty, nothing is too good, right?

Well, there are lots of decisions to make when it comes to choosing the bowls to use. They will probably need to last for some time, so you will want to pay attention to the materials they are made of.  You will want to stay away from those that are made of plastic, as they are more prone to collecting bacteria. Some cats are also allergic to the plastic and the plastic has been linked to acne in cats. (Ever heard of that one?) The highest recommended materials of cat bowls are those that are made of glazed ceramic, stainless steel and glass, as well as any stoneware.

Of course, just like with your dishes, you will want to make sure that your cat’s bowls are cleaned on a regular basis. You will want to clean and provide a clean water bowel every day. If you have dry cat food in another bowl, it is suggested that you replace and wash that one at least a couple of times a day. Pampering your cat really doesn’t have to be a chore, things like giving them great eating bowls is not very time consuming and they will love you for it!
