Pamper Your Cat - Special Treats And Rewards

When sister Suzy’s Birthday rolls around every year, or if your cousin Bobby has just graduated high school, you surely send a gift, right? That’s great, because it is a special occasion and should be celebrated. Well, you cat has special occasions in his or her life, too! When would you give your cat a special treat? Birthdays, holidays, for a reward, or for any reason is just fine!

Every cat has his or her own favorite type of treat, but some are popular among most cats.  Whether your cat prefers the taste of chicken, beef, poultry or cheese, there are boundless treats that you can buy and make for his or her enjoyment.

Chicken innards are pretty popular among cats. You can feed them to your cat at room temperature (always refrigerate until serving time) or make a combination of rice and chicken. You could also create a kind of stew with the chicken. The innards include the liver, and every cat pretty much flips for this part of the chicken. It’s like a Filet Steak would be for us!

Another simple treat for your cat is eggs. Just beat the egg in a little milk and serve him or her some in their bowl. You don’t have to worry, unless you overfeed him or her, they aren’t likely to get sick from it. Some cats prefer the milk to be lukewarm, so you may want to heat it up before mixing it with the egg. Your adult cat may also prefer a little wheat germ in the mixture, as well.

Most cat owners agree that a great way to keep your cat happy is with a few crumbs of a cat biscuit, or an egg. Even a little ice cream can be used as a special treat for your special kitty. What ever you serve, just do it with love.

Also, avoid giving him or her any treats in a large quantity. Your cat, just like you, can get a heck of a bellyache if he or she over does it. Only, they can’t run to the medicine cabinet to grab something to make themselves feel better.  Sometimes, your cat will consider alone time a treat all in itself.

On a side note, you may want to give your kitten a snack before bedtime. This will prevent him or her from wanting to wake you up in the middle of the night for food. This will keep him or her full until the morning time rolls around.

Some cats prefer to eat treats alone, while other prefer to be around others. Observe your cat for a few meals and you’ll quickly figure out which one your cat will be. If you have a stranger in the house, you might as well not even think of giving your cat a treat, as he or she will not eat as long as there is a stranger around.
