Pamper Your Cat - Ways To Make Sure Your Cat Feels Great

It really isn’t that hard to make your cat feel special. Just spending the time to play or snuggle can make their day much brighter! Most cats have their little routines, and that routine occasionally includes giving you some attention, too. If your cat isn’t like that, you may have to get a little more creative to get his or her attention!

There are a lot of neat little things you can do to keep your cat’s attention. You can make some homemade treats, blankets and toys all very inexpensively. It doesn’t have to set you back much money and you will enjoy the time you put into the little creative tasks you embark upon, so will your pampered kitty.

If you are into making things with your hands, and are talented with a knitting needle (actually, I think you use 2 of them), you could probably conjure up a nice little original blanket for your cat to sleep on. You can place it in their favorite resting spot and it can help to protect your furniture a t the same time!

Making homemade cat toys can be very easy, too. Everyone is bound to have at least one cardboard toilet paper holder a week, right? Well, your cat will love to tackle and throw that thing around! When it gets old and tattered, just exchange it for another and it’ll keep your cat busy for hours!

Every cat also enjoys a string or two! You can get creative and tie it to a flexible pole so they can jump up and down for it or you can slide it across the carpet so your cat can chase it around. And then, there is always the good old ball of yarn toy, too. Just be sure to stay away from any type of nylon or plastic lines, because they can hurt your cat’s mouth.

Cats really like to make noise, too. But they can be easily frightened by a lot of it at once. You can take something like an old film canister with a pop on lid and fill it with some small rocks or pennies to make noise when it’s rolled around.

Just about anything plastic that has a lid can be a great toy for your cat. Be careful for sharp edges or pieces that can be bitten off! It is not recommended that you use any dry cat food to make the toys rattle; this will cause your cat to try to get it out. In the process, your cat might just end up eating more than the food, if it can.

For the most part, you can easily find items just lying around the home that would be great for entertaining your pampered cat. Just use a little common sense about it. You obviously wouldn’t let them play with a set of marbles or your special knife collection!
